Saga 1973, p.35. High School Student Congress. Caption: "Dr. Kenneth Mosier, a member of President Nixon's White House Staff, delivered the State of the Union address at the congress. Student Congress, a unique event, is sponsored by Pi Kappa Delta. Encouraging forensic skills and ability, the Congress brought high school students from the greater Puget Sound area to PLU. For two days, the students deliberated on a variety of legislation of current importance."
