Christ Lutheran, a mission congregation of Zion Lutheran, was organized October 22, 1967. Approximately one year after first services were held, services began in the new church. The educational wing was expanded in 1982. Construction of a new sanctuary began in 1984. The choir was organized at the outset of the congregation.
