Larry Nelson, Director, Institutional Research and Planning, academic year 1997-1998. Larry was born September 25, 1946, in Centralia, Washington, and passed away April 6, 2006. His career was spent as a college administrator and researcher and, in addition to Pacific Lutheran University, he worked at Centralia College, Pierce College, Western Washington University, and at Washington State University's Social Economic Sciences Research Center in Olympia. He was also an elder at First Christian Church in Olympia.
