File includes: a pamphlet entitled “The Role of Modern Languages in Our Schools” (1956), pamphlet “Factors Involved in Good Modern Language Teaching” (1958), pamphlet “Grammar--Beware!” (1957), news releases on actions taken under the National Defense Act for the creation of foreign language institutes, and a copy of The Modern Language Journal (1959).

Menucha Lectures - Pacific District Pastoral Conference

Materials from the Pacific District Pastoral Conference at Camp Menucha for which Dr. Schnackenberg was the guest lecturer. File includes: schedule for the conference, a questionnaire for the pastors at the conference, and outline for lectures given at the conference by Dr. Schnackenberg. Some of the themes in these lectures were time, the relationship between primitive and modern thought, the demands of evangelism in the Space Age, secularization, etc.
