The Alaska Congregation Files contain limited information on Lutheran congregations in Alaska received either from regional Synod offices or directly from the congregation. Files may contain Congregational Historical Record forms, written histories of the church, service programs and bulletins, Congregational Statistical Record forms, and newspaper clippings. For a limited number of congregations, photographs and/or Parish Records are also included.
File includes quarterly report from the Division for Service and Mission in America (1975), correspondence involving the organization and beginnings of the congregation (1974), congregation historical records, orientation report/orientation budget plan (1974), yearly pastoral report (1976), and photographs of church building and members.
