Also included are photocopied portraits of Helgi and Dagbjort and a photo of their home in Point Roberts from a newspaper clipping (the newspaper cites their surname as Thorstenson).

The folder contains Esther Nilsen’s scrapbook pertaining to her trip to the United States from 1939-1940. She traveled to New York, Canada, the Pacific Northwest, the Pacific Coast, Wyoming, and North Dakota. The scrapbooks includes the meal menus from the M.S. Oslofjord for third class in June 1939, pictures from various cities in Canada, Washington, Oregon, and California, and various programs for festivals, a church, and fairs.
