Christina del Rosario Fridenstine ('75), director of Student Involvement and Leadership, academic year 1997-1998. That year she was granted a 2-month sabbatical to study folklore in the Philippines.

Susan Mackin Boe ('84) wrote a high school text book titled "Total Health Choices for a Winning Lifestyle". Boe graduated from PLU with a bachelor's degree in K-12 physical education and, according to an article in the Scene (v. 28, no.14), was inspired in part by the PLU Physical Education Department.
