"The house is President Eastvold's home. It is across Park Avenue from Trinity Church. It faces the campus (across Wheeler Street, which then ran thru the campus) and this is the front."

"We walk along the west side of Park Avenue, along the front of the campus. This sign is at the main entrance and the bldg. is the Main Bldg., a 6-story bldg. erected in 1894, by sturdy Norwegian Pioneers with vision. In the earlier days students + faculty lived, ate, attended classes + all, in this bldg. Now it is classrooms, offices, and girls' dormitory."

"Back at Science Hall again, we look out an E. 3rd fl. window toward Park Ave. + the Student Union Bldg. This is the newest Bldg. on campus. It was dedicated in Feb. by Rev. N. A. Menter of Detroit, Chairman of the Board of Educ. of the American Lutheran Church. The close co-operation, in the offices of P. L. C., among the A. L. C. (German background), the Augustana Synod (Swedish), + our E. L. C. (Norwegian) is a source of pride + thankfulness to students + faculty + friends."

"Coming again onto the campus, we walk west and see the E. entrance to the Science Hall, with Olsen boys in doorway. This bldg. was dedicated this past Nov. 7th. It has Physics on the 1st fl., Biology on 2nd,+ Chemistry on 3rd."
