Gretchen Glew, (1918-2011) was featured in a story in the fall, 1997, issue of Scene. She was a PLU alum (1940, 1944), who began teaching in 1940 right after graduation, not retiring until she reached the age of 78.
Bradley C. Raydell (1958-2003) served for ten years as a member of the faculty of Pacific Lutheran University where he conducted both the University Wind Ensemble and Concert Band, as well as conducting the Washington Wind Symphony. He passed away in November of 2003.
