Washington Congregation Files

The Washington Congregation Files contain limited information on Lutheran congregations in Alaska received either from regional Synod offices or directly from the congregation. Files may contain Congregational Historical Record forms, written histories of the church, service programs and bulletins, Congregational Statistical Record forms, and newspaper clippings. For a limited number of congregations, photographs and/or Parish Records are also included.

Produced by and distributed by the University, this publication included news and updates on University operations and letters from the President. The earliest years of the publication were primarily geared towards potential students while the later years focused more on alumni. The publication was titled as follows: "Pacific Lutheran Academy Bulletin," (1911-1912) "Pacific Lutheran College Bulletin," (1921-1959), "Pacific Lutheran University Bulletin," (1960-1964), "Reflections," (1964-1970).

The Hurricane

The Hurricane was a student literary journal and newsletter published by the Lyceum Student Literary Society. It included campus news, creative writing, editorials, and coverage of athletics events, debates, and theatrical performances. The publication's first several issues were handwritten before it began being printed as a small booklet.
