The Washington Congregation Files contain limited information on Lutheran congregations in Alaska received either from regional Synod offices or directly from the congregation. Files may contain Congregational Historical Record forms, written histories of the church, service programs and bulletins, Congregational Statistical Record forms, and newspaper clippings. For a limited number of congregations, photographs and/or Parish Records are also included.

Course catalogs typically include descriptions of individual courses to be offered in the upcoming academic year. The information included in the catalogs differ by year. Early years included lists of faculty and tuition information. More recent catalogs include general information about the University including campus maps and building information, information on University administrative offices, and other details.

Produced by and distributed by the University, this publication included news and updates on University operations and letters from the President. The earliest years of the publication were primarily geared towards potential students while the later years focused more on alumni. The publication was titled as follows: "Pacific Lutheran Academy Bulletin," (1911-1912) "Pacific Lutheran College Bulletin," (1921-1959), "Pacific Lutheran University Bulletin," (1960-1964), "Reflections," (1964-1970).

Contains the documents and records of the Vasa Order of America from its meetings, events, and daily interactions. Such documents include publicized works, such as almanacs, histories, and newsletters; treasurers' reports and inventories; membership cards and mailing lists; convention programs; correspondence; constitution and bylaws; and meeting minutes. The documents are from the Grand Lodge in Connecticut, the Pacific Northwest District Lodge no. 13, and Norden Lodge no. 233 of Tacoma, Washington.

The Papers of Dr. Janet Rasmussen include information on her time as a Professor at PLU, Director of the Wang Center, and Dean of Humanities. Research files and materials related to her study of Scandinavian immigration to the US are also included.

Interviews with residents of Parkland for the Parkland Heritage Project conducted in 1988. Originally recorded on cassette, these interviews have been digitized and are available online.
