The Hurricane was a student literary journal and newsletter published by the Lyceum Student Literary Society. It included campus news, creative writing, editorials, and coverage of athletics events, debates, and theatrical performances. The publication's first several issues were handwritten before it began being printed as a small booklet.

Saxifrage ranges from poetry and prose to art, photography, and musical compositions. All of the books are professionally printed and bound with multiple signature glue bindings and soft covers.
