Prism exists to celebrate the work and achievement of the Division of Humanities as well as to promote continuing education among our colleagues and constituents. Focusing on important issues of the day, Prism provides a vehicle for contemporary reflection and opinion, while lifting up the enduring values of the Liberal Arts. The magazine endeavors to address topics of lively interest, from a variety of perspectives within the university community, and with the clear understanding that “Educating for Service” requires broad vision about the human condition in order to support the effective commitment and wise social purpose and action.

The Matrix is a journal of social justice produced by PLU Student Media.
According to https://matrix.plu.edu/about
"The Matrix is a highly collaborative, intensely experimental, and thoughtfully provocative conversation starter. It is not an echo chamber. It is not a newspaper. It is not simple and it does not simplify. It is social justice in process, in progress, in conversation. It is not the final word."
