James Bramblet Papers

Consists of a manuscript, "Privies, Charivaris, and Bedbugs, or Life on the Farm in the Olden Days,"covering James Bramblet’s life on his family farm in the 1920s and 1930s. This manuscript is divided into chapters discussing where he lived, when there was no running water, his one-room country school, work done on the farm, entertainment on the farm, animals on the farm, how inventions changed the farm, medical problems on the farm, and religion on the farm. There are also photocopied pictures of the family and their homes.

Nils P. Frostensson Family History

Contains twelve photocopied pages (including title page) of the recollections of Nils P. Frostensson, titled "My Own History, N.P. Frostensson's Memoirs" translated by Astride Levestrand and edited by Velma Bayler.

Johnson Family Correspondence

Consists of eight letters documenting the lives of the Johnson family from 16 July 1891 to 7 January 1906. There is also an inventory dividing up family assets and a letter about relatives of the Johnson family from Kvarnevad, and a 1990 "Bayfield County Historical Happenings" that contains excerpts of these letters.

William N. Danielson Papers

The letter written by William Danielson on October 20, 1967 describes the trip he and his wife took to Sweden in June 1967. In the letter he discusses their experiences in Långlöt on the Island of Öland in Sweden, meeting several relatives for the first time, and visiting the church William’s father and family attended in Räpplinge.

Richard Londgren Family History

This is an informally-written account of the Londgren, or Lundgren, family history. It begins with Frank August Londgren and Christine Pettersson, who in their emigration from Sweden in started the American branch of the family. The narrative continues with chapters delineating the three generations. Photographs are interspersed with stories that give brief but more individual biographies of the family members.
