Diary 1955

This diary, a book from Augsburg Publishing, mentions that he is working on cleaning out his house and particularly his desk, but he does not write again after April. At this point he is no longer teaching or preaching. In the back pocket: Notes and a card from Augsburg Publishing House.

Diary 1959

In this diary Xavier notes PLC sports scores, spends a great deal of time studying and gardening, and takes a trip to Norway. In the back pocket: scraps with addresses written on them, notes and a perfectly preserved leaf. In the front of the book are two excellent pencil drawings from a “Sara Amanda Xavier.”
