The Chris Tumbusch Photographs record group is comprised of scanned images of the print photographs and negatives of PLU Director of Photography Services Chris Tumbusch, who served in that capacity from 1995 to 2003. Descriptions of the images are from a legacy system and are considered unverified. On scans of print photos verso text has been appended to the description when available and is preceded by the note "Back of photo."

The record group is divided into two series, Prints and Negatives. The Prints series is subdivided into Files of 50 images each. The Negatives series is split into subseries for each year.

This collection includes financial records, church council meeting minutes, meeting minutes of church organizations, scrapbook material, newspapers, church constitution records, marriage records, funeral records, and baptismal records. Box 9 contains financial and administrative records that have been held for retention schedule purposes. The materials date from 1954 to 2022, from the founding of the church to the closing of the church.

The Pacific Lutheran University & Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed Grant Papers primarily center around the effects of and response to urban sprawl on the Clover Creek and the Chambers Creek Basin in Pierce County, Washington between 1955 and 2019. These materials include the administrative records of the South Suburban Sewer District, as well as materials relating to the organization’s annexations, correspondence, sewerage planning, and regional reporting on the sewer district’s activities. The material also includes records related to the Chambers Creek-Clover Creek Sewerage Plan, Pierce County organizations and community projects centered on environmental and heritage initiatives, as well as materials that center on the relationship between Pacific Lutheran University’s Environmental Studies Program and the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed.

PLU professor of History Arthur Martinson donated this collection of undated and undescribed photographs to the Archives. These and other materials now housed in Special Collections were part of his Nisqually Plains Collection.
