Biographical Note
Dr. Falkenberg passed away at age 90. He was a very recognized man who was part of the Norwegian Commercial Club. This Club was founded in 1932, the year Dr. Falkenberg came to the city. He traveled throughout Canada and managed to establish a small business in Walla Walla, Washington in 1905. He was also a member of Leif Erickson Lodge, Sons of Norway, the Norsemen’s League, The Alaskan-Yukon Pioneers and the Masonic Order. He was born in Ringsaker, Norway in 1872. He studied jewelry in Oslo and managed to establish a jewelry business in Walla Walla, Washington in 1905. He also became an optometrist in 1912 in Chicago. His wife Grace Falkenberg and his children Karen Titel and Wendell Falkenberg survive him.
