General note

The congregation in the community of Wales has roots in the congregation mission which was established July 4, 1890. It was re-established as a Presbyterian mission in 1921. In 1954 the mission was transferred to the Covenant Church until 1971, when congregation voted to join Lutheran Church and was admitted to ALC in 1973.
