The “Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Soos Creek, Washington” in 1903, and each member was elected to serve in some capacity. By October 4 of the same year the group began to build on land donated by Hans and Dorthea Moe, early Norwegian settlers. The final additions in 1911 extended the building to the south for a Sunday School meeting room and to the rear for kitchen facilities. This building served the congregation until 1946.
