General note
This congregation was founded by Danish Lutherans who first worshipped in a small rented church in northwest Portland, but the building was burned. In 1905 a new church was dedicated, and in 1947 a new church was built. A parsonage, educational wing, and expanded facilities were introduced in 1961.
