General note
Peace Lutheran Church in downtown Puyallup had purchased some property with a view towards relocating. However, they voted not to build, and decided to give their building site to the national church for the establishment of a new congregation. The congregation was organized under the direction of Rev. George Larson in 1981. The congregation met in a school until 1985, when they completed their new sanctuary.
