General note

In the fall of 1951, Rev. Krueger began to hold services in the present Grange Hall. He made the trip from Grangeville and served this congregation. After two years, due to a heart condition, he released this congregation to join with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod under Rev. Richard Waag of Nezperce. Rev. Waag and a few members of the Nezperce Lutheran congregation helped with the construction of the church. In 1980 this congregation joined together in a 4-point parish with the Nezperce, Gifford, and Orofino congregations.
