This folder contains various newsletters, copies of newspaper articles, a congregational historical record, a booklet from their 10th anniversary, two pictorial directories from 1968, a congregational directory, annual reports from 1976, 1977 and 1992, a plan to finance the church, a program from the inaugural recital of the organ, two bulletins from the dedication of the church, a congregational statistical record, two parochial reports, a bulletin from 1990, a bulletin from 1994, a bulletin from 1997, a bulletin from the dedication in 1998, a booklet encouraging giving towards the new building, various 50th anniversary souvenirs, a 50th anniversary booklet, a 2004 membership directory, 1966 congregational directory form, and a newsletter.

Rev. John DeBoer was called by the Lutheran Free Church to establish this congregation in 1948. The congregation first met at the Shelton Memorial Hall with 13 people in attendance. Formal organization took place March 6, 1949 and a site was purchased in 1952. A study was made to determine future plans. Property was purchased at the Mt. View area in 1964, and on July 31, 1976, the new building was begun, being dedicated on March 5, 1978, the congregation’s 29th anniversary.
