      General note

This congregation was formed in 1910 when a group of German immigrants from South Russia met in a home in Marsh, Montana. The congregation was initially served by Circuit Rider Pastors, and in 1914 Rev. Hans Janner came as the first resident, full-time pastor. Services were held in both German and English until 1955. The location of services has changed frequently.
