South Hall under construction. Built in 1954, South Hall, a student residence hall, was later renamed Hinderlie Hall after Mr. and Mrs. Berndt I. Hinderlie, two long-time PLU staff members.
Built in 1955, the College Union Building was later renamed Ingram Hall in honor of Aida Ingram, wife of Charles Ingram, a PLU benefactor.
