Former US Senator from Oregon, Wayne Morse, walks on campus with president Eugene W. Wiegman, an unidentified woman, and Kenneth A. Johnston. Senator Morse was the keynote speaker for the Vietnam Moratorium held on campus on October 15, 1969.

The office area was named in honor of Mark Salzman and Ken Johnon is the artist who painted the Mt Rainier painting in the background. The painting was given to honor Mark Salzman. May, 1969
