Students are seen walking near the Student Union Building in 1950. A sundial is seen in the foreground. The Student Union Building was completed in 1947 on the foundation of the old gymnasium, and in 1955 it was renamed the Classroom Building. It was raised in 1969.
Students are seen walking near Science Hall. Completed in the fall of 1947, it was used as the science hall until the Rieke Science Center was completed. It was completely renovated in 1985. Ramstad Hall was named in honor of A.W. Ramstad, science professor from 1925 to 1961.
