Prism exists to celebrate the work and achievement of the Division of Humanities as well as to promote continuing education among our colleagues and constituents. Focusing on important issues of the day, Prism provides a vehicle for contemporary reflection and opinion, while lifting up the enduring values of the Liberal Arts. The magazine endeavors to address topics of lively interest, from a variety of perspectives within the university community, and with the clear understanding that “Educating for Service” requires broad vision about the human condition in order to support the effective commitment and wise social purpose and action.
