Dalahast in focus: Swedish Dalahasts were on display at an art presentation in the Scandinavian Center during the summer of 2008. The legends and the history of the wooden horses were discussed at the event.

Chemistry and Desserts 2008: Chemistry department presents: Desserts and Demos 2008. Students and teachers from local high schools and middle schools came to campus for liquid nitrogen ice cream and desserts, hands-on chemistry activities, and some of favorite and flashy chemical demonstrations to be done by PLU Chem faculty and students. Here, students create gak, substance both liquid and solid.
