General note
Lord of Life Lutheran Church organized on November 12, 1978 with over 100 charter members. It was sponsored by Salem Lutheran Church, Spokane, Washington, and the LCA Division for Mission in North America. Groundbreaking for the church was on November 11, 1979, and dedication followed on June 15, 1980. The altar, lectern, rail, and hanging cross, as well as the frosted windows in the narthex and the church school furnishings, were all made by members. The unique sanctuary was designed around a six-sided worship area with movable furnishings. Two members have pursued the ordained ministry from this congregation.
