Biographical Note
Lars Johnson, born in 1857, and his wife Karin Eklof emigrated from Nora, Sweden, to America in the 1880s. Lars received his naturalization papers from the territory of Washington in King County in 1889. He could read and write and had been confirmed. His brother, Olof, received his naturalization from the District of Washington in Seattle in 1886.
