      General note

In 1928 the Lutheran Daughters of the Reformation provided funds to begin a mission. The original name of the congregation was the Anna M. Huseth Memorial Mission. First services were held in August of 1930 by Rev. E. H. Dahle, under whose direction the original building was completed. This building and the parsonage were destroyed by fire in 1984. A new building and parsonage were built in the summer of 1985. This was funded and built by thousands ofdollars contributed by the congregations in the district, and construction was done by volunteer laborers who came from many congregations in the Northwest. The new building seated approximately 400, which nearly totaled the population of the village at that time.
