General note

In 1948 this group built their first unit, and the following year they formally organized with 88 charter members. The Ladies’ Aid organized June 22, 1949, and the church was formally dedicated July 10. The Sunday School organized in 1949 with 55 pupils, and in 1950 the Luther League organized. Construction of the parsonage began in 1953. In 1956 the congregation voted to relocate. Groundbreaking fo the new church took place April 27, 1958, and dedication followed on March 1, 1959. The educational wing was dedicated in 1968, and the 25th anniversary was celebrated May 19, 1974.
