General note
This congregation incorporated in May of 1941, and official organization occurred one year later. First services in the new chapel were held in January of 1945. The cornerstone of the new church was laid the following April, with dedication taking place in March of 1946. The parsonage was dedicated in August of 1949. Ground was broken for the present church in April of 1957, with cornerstone laying and dedication taking place in March of 1958. Dedication of the multi-purpose building adjacent to the main structure was held October 22, 1978.
