General note
In 1922 Trinity Lutheran was organized, and services were held once a month in the Garon Gulch School House, six miles east of Hot Springs. Rev. S. G. Nelson from Polson was the pastor. Services were held in a variety of places and in 1952, a tavern was purchased and remodeled to become the church.
