Residence Hall Association's Welcome Week, helps ease the nerves of new students with fun activities like contests between residence halls that promote community building and awards points to halls for their decorations, T-shirts and Sound-Off performances, as well as attendance at various orientation events.

This residence was home to president Tingelstad and later to the campus pastor. It was sold and moved to a residence in Parkland when Mortvedt Library was built.
