Ramstad, Anders

The interview was conducted with Anders Ramstad on March 14, 1981 at Pacific Lutheran University's University House in Tacoma, Washington. It contains information on family background, education, marriage, employment at PLU, and Norwegian heritage. The interview also provides three photographs of Anders at the time of the interview, a small book about Anders written by his wife, Emma, another writing by Emma "Memories That Cast a Glow Over Retirement," and a memorial tribute from PLU's news magazine, Scene, July 1981. Ranney, Freda

Interviews with Freda Ranney were conducted on April 17, 1979 and November 9, 1982 in Tacoma, Washington. The interviews contain information on family background, emigration, work, marriage, community involvement, and Norwegian heritage. Also available are photographs of Freda as a baby, Freda at age fourteen, Freda in her later years, and Freda at the time of the interview. The interview was conducted in English with some Norwegian towards the end of the interview.
