Clippings-University of Kansas City (1952-1953)

Clippings from Kansas City newspapers regarding the UKC crisis. Topics covered include: the resignation of faculty heads, the campus rally to discuss the issue, the speech made by President Decker to students, President Decker's resignation, the vote of "no confidence" by students and staff, and the resolution of the situation.

Election Correspondence (1952-1953)

Congratulatory greetings from friends, associates, and community members on Dr. Mortvedt's election as President of Bethany College. The file also includes an official letter from the Evangelical Lutheran Kansas Conference of the Augustana Lutheran Church extending the call to become President of Bethany College. Dr. Mortvedt also kept copies of all his responses to the greetings.
