The first service was held the following Christmas Eve with 52 in attendance. March 21, 1948 marked the official organization of this congregation with 66 charter members. On May 1,1948 the church was dedicated. The parsonage was dedicated September 28, 1958, and on November 21, 1965 the educational wing was dedicated.
