General note
In the spring of 1950 a number of people from Lebanon spoke to Dr. H. L. Foss, District President, about beginning a church in Lebanon. The first service was held May 14, 1950. On November 2 of that year the proposed constitution was adopted and the congregation organized. Ground was broken for a church April 1, 1951 and the building was dedicated September 30. A Sunday School addition was added and dedicated in 1955.
