      General note

This congregation was established as a mission church of the American Lutheran Church. Rev. Donald Kruse arrived in Boring on February 1, 1976, and first services were held April 11 in the Hollyview Baptist Church, where the congregation worshipped until December 11, 1977. Their newly erected physical plant was dedicated at that time.
