      General note

      St. Stephen Lutheran Church was organized February 17, 1952 with Rev. Edward R. Baseler as the first pastor. The church building was dedicated October 28, 1952 and on October 28, 1956 the pipe organ was dedicated. In 1959 an educational unit was added, and the sanctuary was enlarged in 1963.The church operated a Christian Kindergarten program from 1959-1974.
