Saxifrage

The collection consists of 46 books of the Saxifrage from the years 1975-2019. All volumes of Saxifrage were created by PLU students and printed locally. As a creative arts publication, the content of
Saxifrage ranges from poetry and prose to art, photography, and musical compositions. All of the books are professionally printed and bound with multiple signature glue bindings and soft covers.

Manuscript Collection

The SIE Manuscript Collection consists of materials relating to Scandinavian immigrants and their descendants including biographies, personal documents, scrapbooks, correspondence, publications, and photographs.

The records of the Montana Synod include assembly and council meeting minutes, yearbooks, and publications of the Synod.

ELCA 2.3.2

Contains the personal papers of. G.A. Anderson including class testimonials, his Bachelors of Arts degree, his marriage certificate, and his obituary. Also included in the collection are important documents such as “flyttningsbevis” and letters of dismissal, personal letters between the Anderson family, Swedish Lutheran Church histories, and church membership lists. Several reports from the early pastors involved in the Columbia Conference and reports from G.A. Anderson and Peter Carlson to the Columbia Conference are also included, as well as numerous talks and sermons written by G.A. Anderson. Also included are financial papers.

Contains personal papers of O.K. Davidson. Included are military papers, citizenship, marriage, and church records, as well as scrapbooks that he created.

Henry Rieke Papers

Contains the obituary, Ministerial Book, and correspondence of Henry Rieke (1855-1919). Also included is the obituary of Carl Anton Horn (1855-1915) written by Henry Rieke.
