The interview also contains an early photograph of Henny Hale and her husband Louis and two photographs of Henny at the time of the interview. The interview was conducted in English with some Norwegian at the end of the interview.

This collection contains photographs originally belonging to Lillian and Ivar Hallquist-West. Though few of the photographs have marked dates on them, it is most likely that some of the photographs are from as early as the 1880’s. The photographs include baby and family photos, photos of a Hoquiam logging camp sometime in the 1890’s, navy photos, sports and classroom photos from what appears to be the public school in Parkland, and travel postcards.

A nine page trypewritten genealogical narrative of Markus Hallvardson and Brita Sjursdatter Vangsness and their families. It also explains that many families that came to America took the name of the farm from Norway that they lived on, so there are many Vangsness families in America that are in no way related by blood ties.
